I LOVE GAMING!!!!! I've been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I don't even think I can list all the consoles I had, but I do remember my first one, though! It was a pink V.Smile Pro by Vtech!<3
I was only 3 when it was released, back in 2007. my favorite game on there was the scooby-doo one. I remember the food mini-game made me sooo hungry! however, this console was pretty kid-oriented, so I quickly got bored of it. fortunately, my father also had a PS3 and a computer I was allowed to use. needless to say, this was life-changing for me. I spent my whole childhood on both of those. I loved flash games such as Habbo, Club Penguin, Animal Jam, Movie Star Planet, and more classic games like Minecraft, the LEGO games, Rayman, The Sims, and Toy Story 3... but my favorite one was Little Big Planet. To this day, it still holds a special place in my heart. I remember playing the first few levels over and over....
over the years, I kinda gave up on consoles to play exclusively on my father's computer. When I finally had my very own computer in my bedroom, my fate was sealed. Of course, I still had many consoles (mainly nintendo and playstation ones I'll admit), but I was still a computer girl at heart. A week after my parents gifted me my computer, they already regretted their decision, but it was too late. Since then, my condition only worsened....or improved??? depends on your view on the subject!!! as a child who had trouble to properly make friends and sociabilize with other, video games and the internet on a much larger scale were a great form of escapism, and allowed me to connect with people all over the world with whom I could relate to. at some levels, I do think it saved the little mymy!

Visual Novels
I used to have a visual novel phase when I was younger (maybe three or four years ago?). I really like taking the time to read one from time to time, but looking back, I don’t think I can enjoy them the same way I did back then..the constant sexualization, blatant misogyny, and borderline pedophilia in some of those games really piss me off now. but maybe because I was younger myself, I used to be obsessed with visual novels, especially the ero-guro ones!I thought that being able to see through the vulgar and taboo scenes made me more mature: I could play the games to appreciate their storyline. I won't even put most of the games I played on here.. now, I realize that even though some of them had genuinely interesting storylines (like saya no uta, or some of clockup’s games for example) you can’t just erase the objectification of women and the constant glamorization of their trauma (rape, for example). sorry if you’re a visual novel fan… needless to say, I’m talking about a very specific genre of visual novels here. I’m not saying you’re a monster for enjoying saya or other eroge! plus, those games still have a place in my heart, I’d be lying if I said otherwise. I just think it’s important to stay critical of the media you consume, no matter how much you love it.

I love nintendo games! they have so many great exclusives: pokemon, animal crossing, zelda, mario, metroid... I can't even list them all.I also like how handy their consoles are. The switch and the 3DS are probably the two consoles I spent the most time on (not counting my loyal computer ofc). I do hate them as a company thought, which is a shame. however, my hate for nintendo led me to dive into another passion of mine: jailbreaking consoles. I kinda feel like a poser writing this since I haven't had a lot of opportunities to crack consoles, but I remember trying to hack my 3DS to edit my acnl town. I was pretty young thought, so I never succeeded. It was only years later that I decided to give it another shot, and this tome it worked! since then, I've cracked some of my friends console, as well as most of my own (including my switchs!) . I like being able to play games without having to pay for them. I do end up paying for most of my cracked games if I really love them, but not nintendo. those rats will never have my money.
